THE PLAY OF THE FIVE ELEMENTS - PART 2


Everything manifest is simply the play of the five elements - space, air, fire, water, earth. 
The series will share the View of  the elemental interplay of "material life", the sense of beingness or "I Am", and the Absolute state which is prior to and gives rise to this elemental play.


When the foliage, the grass, and the vegetation is eaten, the essence is eaten and another consciousness appears through that. Consciousness is the essence of the food that has been digested, and along with the food, that consciousness will also disappear. The consciousness that has come out of the five elements, through the body, is the state of beingness, the knowledge that ‘I Am’. That state of beingness will perish.

When the great dissolution of the universe occurs, there is dissolution of the five elements, and consciousness also finishes. But the knower of consciousness, the Absolute state, is unaffected. In that state there is no fear of anything. THE EMPTINESS OF THE RED GERANIUM

Here – sitting outside with the laptop – there is the view of a natural wilderness – the huge oak tree, fields of nasturtium leaves, geraniums with deep pink flowers, a white butterfly, the smell of jasmine on the creeper nearby, two white arum lilies, overhead the blue sky and drifting white clouds, the sounds of unseen birds, wasps building nests in the eaves, a dog soaking up the sun, the call of the Egyptian geese.  How is it possible to describe the inexplicable emptiness of this amazing array? Everything is simply this unfathomable emptiness – ONE – but expressed with this veneer of solidity that appears different – the red geranium, the brown dog. THE REALIZED STATE - PART 1

This series will offer direct pointers to the natural state. What these pointers do is illuminate the way – revealing the cul-de-sacs or false paths. It is easy to become lost in the variety of mystical experience; yet these pointers bring you back again and again to the correct direction.
